Airi Updated Character Design - V1
An updated character design for my character Airi from the manga Ikidomari. Really enjoyed working on her updated character and I will be updating it further to see how far I can improve on her design.
Complete Character Design
Work in Progress 1 (3 Hours)
Started out by drawing out the grid reference for height to keep it accurate. Then moved on to get the poses down before adding in clothing and other details.
Work in Progress 2 (4 Hours)
Worked on the front pose first so I can design her clothing easily and moved onto the back and side poses afterwards, using the front pose as reference.
Work in Progress 3 (5 Hours)
Next, I proceeded to add in colour to the poses.
Work in Progress 4 (6 Hours)
Added in the solid colours for all three poses and created a colour palette for the character to make it easier to refence later.
Work in Progress 5 (6.5 hours)
Finally added in the light and shadow for the three poses and completed the design.
